The Deepings has been awarded recognition by The Ramblers for being one of the top ten walking neighbourhoods in the country.
Approximately 80% of the Deepings population live within 15-20 minutes walking distance of a wide range of local amenities such as: shops, schools, supermarkets, health services, post office, parks, the library, the community centre, chemists, bus stops, pubs, restaurants and the weekly market.
To help improve our community health and wellbeing, as well as reducing carbon emissions, we are trying to ensure that all our key amenities are accessible in a safe and attractive way so that the number of short car journeys can be minimised.
